A small selection of numerous prototypes I’ve managed to complete over the last few years. Read more

Machine1

Machine 1 was “manufactured” by hand in 2006 using aluminium, perspex and an electric fan. Two blue and two red Cold Cathode Tubes are used as the main lighting source. Power is supplied by a wall adapter which outputs a very safe 9V.

Machine2

Following on from Machine 1 is Machine 2. Made from similar materials and a bright blue cylinder salvaged from a disused colour laser printer.

machine3

Machine 3 was created in March 2006. It’s an early attempt at creating an electronics device which “counts” up to 1,000,000,000. It uses a custom made pcb utilising 4026 Integrated Circuits driving 10 2.5 inch seven segment displays.

Finally, Machine 4 is simply 4 bright green LED strips encased in a clear perspex box.
