After a wonderful sixteen weeks we’re heading back home to Australia. So it’s goodbye Paris at least for now and what better way to mark the occasion than with some more images of (and from) the amazing Tour Eifel.

After a 4.5 hour drive from Paris, we arrived on a miserable, wet and very foggy afternoon and were unable to see much of the amazing Mont Saint Michel. Fortunately on the following morning, we had a couple of hours of fine weather and therefore able to experience one of the most remarkable sights I’ve seen for a very long time. As we climbed to the abbey itself, the sites became more and more impressive especially when you consider that it was completed way back in 1228!
